hey hey
my kribs spawned a couple of weeks ago but now im sick of the fry getting sucked into my filter intake and having to take them out . funny thing is that they are always fine. anyways i want to move them to a 10 with a low output filter.i was wondering if my dwarf gourmi would eat them. they are all about 3mms long. could this work?

um, not really. (but thats just me, i rarely feed my fishes live food,) u can send them to a lfs who may pick them up. another way is to get a sponge, and put it around the intake of the filter so they dont get sucked up.

been there done that. the filter clogs up as soon as i put anything over it. tried a filter sponge, pantyhse,a sock. now im trying something else. the thing is that i doubt n lfs will take 3mm fry. so they would get eaten?

I think that they'll be eaten by the Dwarf Gourami & you can use a sponge filter that is quite cheap & switch off the tank filter, so they don't be sucked up.

Cheesecloth also works but deteriorates quickly so it has to be replaced more often.

I'm rather sure the gourami would eat the fry.
