I have:

3 Acei (Pseudotropheus Acei)
4 Kenyii (Maylandia lombardoi)
3 Rusty Cichlids (Iodotropheus sprengerae)
3 Cobalt Blues (Metriaclima callainos)
5 Electric Yellows (Labidochromis caeruleus)

But, I have to admit, I don't know who really in the tank are my favorites, but I guess the Aceis and my E. Yellows keep my attention the most, while the others just add to the beauty, and hilarity of the tank.

Here's a picture of my set up...had to piece it together, but I think I'm getting pretty good at it...heidi

Hey All,

Just wondering what people are stocking in their Malawi tanks?

I'd like to start breeding a new species and was a little curious what does well.......

I have
Ps. Acei "blk" 9
Ps. Saulosi 9
Lab. Caeruleus 5
Lab. Textilis 5
Aul. Steveni "kande island" 5
Aul. Baenschi 3

All in their own species tanks, but what draws the eye of others?

Mr Cichlid I am not sure if you werre asking me but yes the crabros are missing. the lfs didn't have them. Someone posted a link for me but I need to search for that thread. It was the name of a local breeder.

I don't have pics of hongis or my tank. I don't have a digital camera.

So far i have
1 male electric blue (4.5inches)
1 electric yellow (4inches)
8 electric yellows (1.5inches)
1 Bn (4inches)
& 1 Bn (1inches)

I'm still planning to add more fish soon.
I'm thinking about adding some peacock(s) and maybe a female electric blue.
My friend also has some mbuna fry that i can get for cheap so i'll just wait till they get a bit larger before adding them in.

I also really wanna keep some altolamprologus calvus & some Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos. But they'll be in the future.
