	Will angels eat all small fish, or just tetras?
fishygirl68 Hobbyist Posts: 97 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Jul-2004	I was wanting to add some diamond tetras, rummynose tetras and maybe some sparkling gouramis to my angels, would the angels eat the tetras? I know they eat neons, but these sparkling gouramis are very tiny right now, (under 1", would the angels make a snack out of them?

My agressive angel was fine and didn't bother other fish until it got larger (and they grow fast!). It never picked at my black phantoms or the sparkling gouramis, just had a taste for guppies ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean

Angles mouths are very tiny and most likley wouldnt be able to fit anything in there mouths that is an inch long. I have had many large angels in community tanks and they rarely ever eat any small fish, but they will eat neons becasue it comes nautral to them, and neons are very tiny, so i wouldnt worry about putting your gourmais in there, and if you do see any aggresion, which I dont expect you will, jdut remove them. -topher

My diamonds are quite big...dont' see how an angel could eat one. ^_^
