What do you suppose these are? The label at the store said Electric Yellows, but on this site i was told they are Red Zebras. I am needing to get some opinions, if they are Zebras, they are not compatable in my tank.

Here are a few pictures:

you already know what I said.Zebra

By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Look to me like one of the so-called "Tangerine morph" variants of Metriaclima zebra.

Yellos Labs are intensely lemon yellow. Some sample pics include this one]http://suurunleri.comu.edu.tr/susbaliklari_dosyalar/image010.jpg[/link] and [link=this one]http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/b_labido.php[/link]. They're not called "Electric Yellow" for nothing! Yet more photos include [link=the ones on this page which again are brilliant lemon yellow.

Your fishes are orange. Body morphology is somewhat different from that of a Labidochromis too.

If your fishes are Metriaclima zebra, then to judge the likely compatibility with any other fishes in there, some information on tank dimensions and other occupants is needed. If your tank is large, you could get away with them, but if not, or you have certain other problematic fishes in there - lombardoi strikes me as a case in point here - then you could be in for an interesting time. In the sense of the old Chinese curse, that is ...
