I was thinking about getting a couple yellow labs and rams to go in my 29gal. I am cycling with guppies so they can be removed. What do you think?

I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!

Not a good idea. For one thing, the two require vastly different water parameters - I'm not sure if you mean Bolivian Rams or Blue Rams, but the latter are more common and definitely soft, acid water fish. Yellows need hard, basic water. More importantly, although Yellows are relatively docile, they're still mbuna, and could rip the rams to shreds; the behaviors and communication each species relies on are utterly different and a miscommunication here can be a dead fish there.
Besides, a 29 is a bit small for Yellows even as a species tank. I'd go with the Rams and some community fish, or, if your water is naturally hard and basic, maybe some rockwork and smaller Tanganikans, like a few Julies or Leleupi.

I just got myself 6 Blue Rams and I am really worried cause they simply do not seem to eat anything.

I got them for my 75 gallon tank two days ago. I feed my other fishes (clown loaches and plecos) TetraBits sinking pellets, but the Rams don't seem interested in the pellets.

Please advice

anyways, I suggest offering bloodworms to your rams--they'll eat them right up.
