If you do want firemouth or convicts, you would have to move every thing that is now in your tank. -topher |

The pairs will go nuts with any other fish in the tank when they are breeding. The betta and dwarf gourami have to be moved. |

In the wild they may be living with other fish but we're talking about a much smaller space. There are other cichlids you could have in a 30g. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

If you go with convicts, I'd find new homes for all the fish in that tank because convicts aren't as tolerant, imo as firemouths. ![]() My vote would be for firemouths. ![]() Jason |

The convict had killed the rams in a matter of days. he put hiding places in there but the convict just hunted them down. it was unfortunate. ![]() |
