i have a female zebra obliquidens with fry in her mouth,any suggestions on how i might save them.i have a spare 10 gallon set up,do i put just her in and wait for her to spit out the fry? don't think they would last long in the main tank.i have heard of stripping the fry from her,is this something i need to do?is it easy or safe??any thoughts or suggestions plzz.

I perfer to strip fry, mainly because it lets the female recover faster since it can eat during the period which she would generally be holding eggs. It also yields more fish, since it prevents fry from accidently being swallowed, eaten when released, etc. And it allows the fish to breed again faster since it cuts down the recovery period. Stripping is very easy. Heres a very good article, which is basically what I do.

thats a great article,i think i'll give it a try.i also have an electric blue holding fry aswell,this should be fun and interesting.
