I think i saw some where not to feed rift lake cichlids blood worms. Is this true or did i dream it??

If so, why not???

And

What else can i feed them aside from flake, shrimp pellets, and floating cichlid pellets theyre eating now.???

Thanks alot

Matt

No, you probably read it some where. You should not feed zebras blood worms beacuse they cause bloat they are way to high in protein for them. Zebras are herbivores. Here's a good link http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/feeding_mbuna.php

A zebras diet should not have more than 35% protein check the back of your foods. I feed veggie flakes, seaweed, some cichlid pellets, cucumbers, etc.
