They are a mild tempered fish and tend to nip fins more than harras other fish. They are a relitivly small species and will need around 30g |

Mine are friendly, and know you're their source of food. They sift through the sand with their mouths and are generally well mannered so far. When breeding their bottom half becomes black and the top half a deep mustard yellow. Healthy adults can change colours in a heartbeat (hence their name). If kept well, they will breed like convicts.. or so I've heard. |
