im not a big fan of angel fish but can you but any kind of angelfish in a 20 gallon and if so how many??

Nah, twenty gallons is a little too small for angelfish. A twenty gallon tall tank is considered by most the minimum space that they can live out their full lifespan in.

For the record, all color variations of the common angelfish reach about the same size; six inches in length, and eight inches tall.
