Yup and yup. That's exactly how most people get a breeding pair. The angels grow up, fall in love and stake out the old homestead. When they get ready to breed they'll pick a spot and start backing the others into a corner. your tank is big enough that two or even three pairs might all find a spot to breed.

Veils and standard will breed no problem. Put in alot of those big plastic amazon sword plants, a couple flower pots and some pieces of slate leaned against the glass. Feed them well, do alot of water changes and watch.

Once the get big enough they'll start sorting themseves out and pick a spot to spawn. Their papillea will protrude and they'll start the housekeeping chores. The chosen spot will be cleaned and they'll spawn.

From the time the papillea show to spawn can take 3 days though and those are the longest days of your life if it's your first pair so try to relax, it'll happen.

Good luck, Mike

p.s. How big are your angels and what colors?

YOu are doing it the right way and yes normal and veil will breed. BUt on a side note some people don't like to do that because it messes up the strain.
