i want to start breeding them again, and i plan on getting two groups. 1 group of 6 albinos, and 1 group of black/ and yellow marbles.

is a group of 6 a good enough number, to find a pair, or can i get away with 4 of each.

I've heard the chances of getting a pair from a group of 6 is 99.something percent. With only 4 the odds are much lower.

I would get a half dozen juvies of each, place each group in its own tank and let them figure it out.

From 6 you'll get a pair, if you don't, then you're really unlucky. I usually buy 4 Angels & get a pair, so 6 is much better.

Buy them small & let them grow up together & see how it will work out & Goodluck.

another question, will they not breed, if i get large angels. i have had trouble houseing small angels, b/c of health problems. so is it still ok if i get some group of 6 large angels.

The actual mathematical chance of getting a pair with 6 angels is 63 out of 64.
