How big is the tank?.
Are there any caves, as the Rams like to have some shelter?.
Are there any other fish in the tank?.

I keep angels and german blue rams together.
Mind you I recently lost 2 females, not to any visible disease.
I am not sure if the other 2 rams (male and female) paired up then did it, or the angels.

Yes the rams will need hiding spots like caves for sure.

It is probably because the angelfish was in the tank first and doesn't like the newcomers. Pretty much all cichlids show some degree of territoriality, which is why so many people have problems keeping them with other fish. A lot of the time the problem is just that one cichlid or group of cichlids has been living in an aquarium for a while, and won't tolerate new additions well.

How large is the angel, and how large are the rams? How long has the angel been in the tank?

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

the tank is a 60 gal! the angel is a little bigger then a quarter, the rams are about 2" and yes i have other fish in the tank! 4 boesemani rainbows, 15 neons and a clown pleco!

Today it seems that the angel didn't care anymore about the rams. He stop pecking them so i think it was because they were the new comers

yes theres some caves and a dirftwood with hi, but for now the rams ara hidding between plants.

I had Angels, blue and bolivian rams all together in a 46 without any real aggression problems. I have since stopped buying blue rams since they are so e to internal parasites. Blue rams are know to look good for a few months and then just keel over for no apparent reason.

Hmm, all my fish are domestic breed, no longer fish store bought, no parasites and had excellent appetite with no sign of wasting, and vibrant color.

Rams were in first, then the angels. It sucks that I lost 2 females, I am lucky to have a pair left. There are 2 large caves, one fake, one of mopani, I am thinking the rams must have done it ? As surely if the angels went for the rams, would the rams not then hide in the caves where the angels cannot go ?
