my female ram is hanging out in my drift wood alot, the only fish she is letting in there are the corys and sometimes a zebra danio, but otherwise she chases all the other fish away, the male is keeping close, and she nipped off a plant leaf, and stuffed it in there too is this breeding behavior?

Usually they'll chase any fish that comes close, but you said that they are letting the Corydoras coming close. I would wait a bit more, but when they'll have eggs, even the Corydoras wouldn't be let in peace.
Just keep an eye & let us know how it went.
