IMo the betta should get a one gallon tank somewhere else as mine in the past dont seem to like the bigger tanks. Make sure you have plenty of plants. Hornwort would make nice cover for the fry.

fish1 Banned Posts: 1727 Kudos: 1910 Votes: 58 Registered: 09-May-2004	Then i would reccomend you go ahead and put him in there. My bettas usally would rather have a small tank then a big tank. They dont swin that well cause of the long fins. All mine did was hang around the heater.
