I had a pair of green severums that spawned twice also. I've found it easier to keep the fry alive by moving them and keeping the parents where they are. I moved all the fry into a 10 gallon tank. Cut the mesh netting from a very small net and put it over the filter intake so no one would get sucked up. From there on out I fed them powdered fry food and very fine crushed up flakes with much success. When they got big enough, about qaurter size, I took them to my LFS and they gave me credit for them. Good Luck

I'm on my 2nd hatching with my gold and green sev. I have a striped raphael in the tank and he eats the eggs unless i leave the light on for a few days at night (presumably the parents can protect them). I moved the parents in with the juveniles from the 1st spawning and they seem quite content. The fry (about 8 of them)are doing well. I did have to go out and buy a 90 gallon to accomodate all the newbies

I thought I would post some pics of the severum parents and a few of their offspring[img src='/images/forums/halo.gif' border=0]

They have been successful from the 1st spawn. Great parents!
