What's the minimum tank for a brichardi? I saw some babies at petco (.5-1 inch) and they were oly $10 a pop (better than the other store) The store also had a sticker for frontosa, but I didn't see them in the tank.

You might, maybe, get away with a pair in a 20 long with PLENTY of rockwork - but then again the male could decide to kill the female. You'd be much better off with a 29 or a 30, but I guess I'd say 20 long is the dead minimum. HTH!

Thats a lot. I got 3 for $9. They are good looking fish though. Had mine in a 20g but they were small and alone.

I had a pair in a 29Gal. & breeded about 4 times. They take care of the fry & now i also have 2 Yoyo's with them, without any problems.

Unfortunatly the female died & now i am trying to breed them again.
I bought mine US$6 each, but in Malta.
