Can a Bolivian Ram eat amano shrimp? I just recently added a bolivian ram to my tank and I can't seem to find my shrimps anymore, although sometimes they are a bit hard to find.

I always thought B. Rams were too small to be able to munch on an amano shrimp, anyone have any experience?

Well i have never heard of a ram eating amano shrimp before, but if it is a fully grown Bolivian Ram it may be more than capable of eating the shrimp.

It's definitely possible, especially if the shrimp just molted. It's shell, being unhardened, would make it more vulnerable, so some hiding places for it might help in the future. Bolivians have been known to munch on snails from time to time, so why not shrimp?

It's entirely possible for a ram to eat a shrimp. As Joe Fishy says while molting, or if a few manage to corner one.
