Make a thread in the Planted Aquaria forum and they'll help out with the plant types. Also I heard that mbunas like to dig out plants so try putting plants onto rocks and things like that. |

I actually have never had a problem with my mbunas bothering my plants.They might occassionally dig one up while digging breeding pits but really nothing major. |

Just make sure the plants are hardy. Not much will grow in crushed coral (my substrate is aragonite and I have problems). Java fern, java moss, and floating plants will probably be the best. The plants ont he right are all fake. |
