I was told that they are not aggressive and can go in a community tank. One of my tank is a 29 gallon community with the following fish. 8- Glowlight tetras 1- Crimson Dwarf Gourami 4- Pepper cories Would a couple of cocatoos work with this set up. |

They are considered soft water and low ph Cichlids but I kept mine in 7.6 ph and they did fine. They like caves. I used little flower pots laid on thier side.
