However, with N. brevis, if the tank is set up to cater to their needs and everything else revolves around them, certain kinds of typical community fish, like platies, swordtails, danios, and the smaller Rainbowfish, can make good companions. The brevis's needs should come first, though: sand, hard, alkaline water, shells, plenty of space to keep away and keep away from said other fish, no other bottomdwellers, good food, etc. A pair will work MUCH better in this kind of tank than a single, a group, or an unconnected male and female. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
