I have tried turning the temp down and have tried feeding more frequently. There are plent of hiding spaces, but the small juli is always being pushed up to the top of the tank. I thought about adding some more julis of the same species to help aggression but I dont know if that would help. |

Adding another four julies of the same species would allow a natural pair to form, but you'd have to remove the extras. Also, be advised that if your brichardi pair off, they're likely to want the whole tank, and may kill any fish that gets in their way. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

I tried a very similar sey-up awhile ago, 4 brichardi, 6 julies, and 4 calvus instead of your comps. Did Not Go Well. A single pair of brichardi began breeding and force every other fish in the take to cower at the top of the aquarium. Which was a 55g. ![]() They killed a few and I removed the rest to "safer" surroundings.. Not sure if any of that helps but I hope you do well. Good Luck ![]() |
