i bought a pair of white convicts, and added them to my breeding tanks, and than what happened..... the male is being so aggressive to the female that he had bred with. i was told that give it time and they should get back together, but it has been about 3 days, and he is still agressive to her. it got kinda bad so i seperated them.

umm,, did the move make them lose love, i have no idea what happened, or how to fix it.

ok i give up with pink convicts and will just breed my black convicts.
i went and got a known male and a known female and they wont pair up, so i will let them be and see what happens later.

in a manner of speaking, yes. cichlids don't have "love connections" and they don't even necessarily make life long breeding bonds. this was explained very well in a cichlid book I have which is in storage right now so the name escapes me. anyway, when a pair forms, basically they will breed and then continue to do so after that so long as the conditions remain favorable for them to do so. any new tankmate, change in parameters, move to a different tank or a number of other variables could break up the pair bond. I had a similar thing happen to me when I moved. I had a pair of Herichthys sp. 'Rio Salto' that had spawned for the first time a couple of weeks before I moved. Well, during the move I lost all the fry which was no surprise, but when I got them back up in the new place in the same tank, the male killed the female.

so, the moral of the story is if you have a pair of cichlids that finally start breeding for you, leave them alone. don't do anything to their tank, don't move them to a new tank, don't add any new fish to their tank if you want to be sure the pair bond will continue.
