can anyone give me some advice on breeding convicts, the local lfs that my inlaws own had a tank where a male convict had bred with an albino female . she seems to be a good mum , the fry are about 4mm long and look healthy. will not having both parents be a problem? as i said any advice would be great . thanks dan ps the male got sold before the fry hatched.

Breeding cons is very easy. Usually just allowing both sexes time to settle and providing a cave leads to fry. I'd suggest a tank size of 24"x15"x18" to be minimum for the pair, plenty of rockwork and they should flourish.
