I have 2 convicts in a 38 gal tank and a week ago have fry, the fry are still in the tank and so is the male, they are all getting along well but in th last few days i have noticed the female lays across the bottom still, is she lazy, tired or sick. any ideas

Thanks

The male has probably been chasing the female.

I would isolate the male in a different tank for the time being. Add some melafix and salt. Breeding is very exhausting for fish also.

Does she have any visible signs of diseases?

Try a minor water change, about 25%
