i have 3 discus around 3"
and i have just bought 2 siamese algae eater they are about 1.5" maybe less
my discus chases after it and pecks it when it swims..
what should i do?
i only have 1 tank

my tank is a 60gal
39"L x 18"W x 20"H
and no they are not breeding at 3" big

Any cichlid has the potential to be a monster, especially when a new fish is introduced to a tank they are already established in. Your best bet is to compltely rearrange everything in the tank, and see if that works.

If not, you could get rid of the SAEs, or move the discus to a new tank for a few days so that the SAEs can claim the tank for themselves and the discus will be the "new fish".
