	discus food?#2

Also, depending on the size of the discus, it might just suck the guppies up! While I don't think that is 100% guaranteed to happen, I wouldn't try keeping the guppies in with a discus. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Live foods aren't very balanced, and discus need a balanced diet which is high in protein.....not to mention the fact that live foods can also spread diseases more readily than prepared foods. My discus get a varied diet of shrimp pellets, "colorbits", flake food as well as treats of bloodworms and beef heart "discus food".
