eggs PLEASE HELP | |
ejack3377 Small Fry Posts: 13 Kudos: 9 Votes: 7 Registered: 01-May-2005 | I have brown eggs on the the suction pipe on the filter and one of what I thought was an all male tank will not let anyone near one side of the 73 gal tank. I have a 10 gal tank that has a arrowhead puffer that I could give back to the pet store. I want to keep the babies. Please help me I don't know how much time I have befoe they hatch. |

carpe_diem Fish Addict *Dreamer* Posts: 555 Kudos: 292 Votes: 51 Registered: 18-Apr-2004 | they should hatch in 3-5 days and if they arent fertilised will turn white in 24-36 hours. usually the parents will look after them by digging them in the gravel and protect them once hatched but if you are worried try and scrape them off and you can put them in a breeding net in that same tank just make sure there is enough water flow near the net and line the bottom of the net with gravel to stop the fish trying to eat them... this is what i did with my cory eggs.. so correct me if im wrong! goodluck with them ! /:' |
