enyone know anything about Gold Ram's? | |
funnyfish Hobbyist Posts: 123 Kudos: 120 Votes: 20 Registered: 28-Jan-2005 | i was just wondering if enyone knew anything about Gold Rams. i want to know because i want to get some i know aobut how high and low the ph and nitrate and hardness needs to be I bealive? let me know if im wrong but this is was i got of the sit so i think the ph:5.0-7.5 temp 77f-84f hardness: 5-12dH nitrate should be nutral right? i know that there size should be about 2.2 inch and there are reigion is about middel to bottem if i need to know anything or if im wrong about something let me know please i wont everything to be perfect for them oh ya how do i get hardness down in my tank? and about how many can i fit in my 20 long? let me know thanks funnyfish |

fishyhelper288 Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | well, as you know i have that blue male in my tank, and bles and golds are the same species....i dident mess with my water parameters, and unless you want to loose them, dont change a thing..well, unless you are doign a waterchnge lol... but im gunna pick up anoher pair for my 20 long, becasue yesterday i lost one of my bolivians, and now im down to a male blue, and a bolivian...but, just keep the water clean, add some drift wood (mine seem to realy like it, and your pleco would appreaciate it)i htink i have a piece or 2 you can use, if you want, i can put it in my 20 long to get the algae attached to it but i warn you, you still have to figure a way to sink it, a few of the pieces i cant sink, im working on a peice now in my 10 gallon, but..im going to use that one but i'v got a few more peices floating around somewheres lol (sad pun i know lol) and ow begins the race to see who can breed their first (oh, btw, all the corys died) |
