I wouldn't feed them anything from your kitchen regularly though, because commercial cichlid foods are so much better. They are healthier for your fish than plain 'ol meats or veggies, neither of which makes a good cichlid staple food. |

Vegetables are a good choice for some fish. Both enjoy a little lean meat remove any fat but just as a rare treat though ![]() |
