But when he wasn't well his mate stuck right by him. If he was at the back of the tank or in a cave she stayed with him. Once we removed him did she swim freely around the tank. So touching to see that fish do care for eachother in their own fishy way. ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |

She had swim bladder problems for 4 days, she would just lie ontop of the filter. Well he has some female Bettas. And two of them kept by her side. When she died I found her at the other end of the tank, floating, and the Bettas were still swimming by her side, even though they don't like it at that end of the tank. (Have another nasy female betta that has claimed that end as hers). It was sad, but lovely to see these fish so close to each after. |
