Green terrors are a different size league. The precaution about the texas has been heeded, he has a tank seperator just in case. I too agree the texas will eventually outstrip the acaras probably both for aggression and fighting ability, probably making the housing situation non viable over the long term. Im really not kidding when I say my adult male blue acara and an equivalent sized convict would probably fight in a way that the bets would be 50/50. You have to see them to believe them. Mine start beating up on adult firemouths and other comperable cichlids at 4 months, and ive had to relocate them several times . Thats a two inch fish beating up a 6 inch fish. In seconds. On paper it doesnt sound feasable, but in reality, well, you just have to see it! |

Setup another tank for a pair of blue acaras, surely?! |
