retiredfish377![]() Small Fry Posts: 6 Kudos: 7 Votes: 0 Registered: 16-Aug-2005 ![]() ![]() | hi i,m new here i have several cichlids but my favorite is Cichlasoma nicaraguense last night they spawned in a clay pot i have never had them spawn before i have had jewels spawn but all the time they ate the eggs with the Cichlasoma nicaraguense i,m hoping and praying they don,t eat them and i hope he fertilized them also i actually have 2 pairs of them but i had to seperate the 2 pairs as the females were battling it out verry badly i seperated them then checked on them 3 hours latter and bang there were eggs what do i feed them when they hatch ![]() |

I mix Hikari First Bites with tank water in a small bowl, and use a baster to drop it low in the tank where the fry are. Depending upon their size finely crushed flake might work as well.
