I am not a fan of flakes. I think they will mess up the tank. too much that could go uneaten. yesterday I had to buy flakes. Budgetary reasons. The shop only had superjumbo size of the pellets which I couldn't afford. So I got the spirallina flakes.

I am very measured with the feeding. I feed a small amt once a day only. I also have a day each week that is food free. Just wondering if anyone else feels the same way about flakes?

My setup is a mbuna tank. Was worried the flakes wouldn't be an enticement but they went for them in double quick time... probably becasue the were so hungry from being on 1/2 rations while I tried to spin out the other food.

My Yellow Labs. prefer the Flakes than the Pellets, but they like the Granules most.

I like pellets more too but flakes are cheaper, the thing i dont liek abotu flakes is that you have crumbs by the time you get through two thirds of the jar.
