how do these fishes breed. i want to drop all of my other fishes to make room for a pair of flown horns, my goal is to breed them. also how much would a practice pair be. i have seen some """""flower horns""""" babies in my petland for only 5 dollars ea.. it looked kind of fishy to me,but i wanted to get a starter pair so if anything goes wrong i can learn.

They breed just like new worls cichlids, convicts, green terrors, jacks so on. You can get a practice pair, but at $5 each they are probley trimacs not flowerhorns. I also am hoping to breed these fish,I would just go with the pair you want.
