	green severum tried to bite me!

moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002	i didn't actually get bit. when i saw the severum trying to come close i would "chase" it with my fingers doing a pinch motion. he would run away a little then when i went back to gravel vac'ing he would try to "sneak up" on my hand he did bite at the gravel vac a lot too, but that is just a jolt every time because this fish has never expressed any aggression like that before... it was kinda fun actually petting my fish though... I use to have a gold severum "Grimey" and he use to always bite me, my forearms whilst always cleaning the tank. Never use to hurt, more like a tickkle... Great fish the severums always very inquistitive and full of character... well his gone now in the great lake upstairs :-(
