What could go in a 55 gallon with a green terror?

a green terror of opposite sex...maybe. green terrors get pretty big, usually between 8-12" though I've heard of even slightly larger jumbo males. if your green terror grows much past 8" then I'd recommend looking for a 75 gallon. You should have a while before this would become a problem though as green terrors usually don't grow super quick. You'll be fine for anywhere between 12-24 months.

if you have no plans on another, bigger tank down the road then I wouldn't add anything other than a mate. If you do plan on eventually getting another tank then for now you could probably go with a couple convicts, firemouths, severums, jack dempseys or possibly even salvini.

I do plan on getting a 75 gallon next year or so. Could I have 1 green terror,1 firemouth, and 1 convict in a 55 gallon untill I get a 75 gallon?
