Did you treat the tank with something that has copper in it? Some of that stuff stains things. I don't know about staining a fish though. Other than that I can't think of anything.

What are your water parameters? Also, are your fish behaving normally? Answers to those questions could help someone else help you!

It could be they are just developing their adult colors. Could you get a pic, by any chance?

Is it a really strong green, faint, or light green?

In some cases, fish can sometimes get algae growth over the slime coat. The slime coat usually is very thick or old, which allows the algae growth.

Something that replenishes or promotes a new stress coat may help, like stress coat aquarium pharumatics (sp?), the fungus cure medication by aquarium pharumatics (sp?) or biocoat by marineland.

I havent had an albino oscar which had green, and oscars will hardly change colors, even at maturity.

If the fish have been fed live food that has been medicated with medicine which contains copper or malachite green that may also be a cause.

You can put your picture on a photo hosting site like photobucket and link us.

Live food wouldnt be medicated with medicine, especially copper and malachite green. Live food is fed to saltwater fish usually, and copper will kill them off. Malachite green will/can kill clown loaches and such.
