how many gallons do i need for a convict? i have a 4 to 5 inch convict in a tank that is 12"x24"x15". and how many gallons would that tank have?

that is about 20 us gallons, convicts should get to about 7-8 inches, so a tank around 60 gallons is good for a breeding pair.

even with one, i would still go 29 or larger.

ive had 2 20 gallon tanks with breeding pairs of cons for 3 years.i think a 20 gallon is plenth]y for 1 male and one female
