I would say none really.. Only cichlids you could keep in a 20 would be dwarf cichlids. Rams, kribs, aspitos, african butterfly ciclid, etc. Is it a 20 long or tall?

Theres some cichlids that would work, neolamprologus helianthus, brevis, brichardi, daffodil pulcher, leleupi etc.

Theres also some various shelldwellers that work.

In a 20G Long I feel you could keep about 3 or 4 of these little yellow guys, so long as you have lots of rock structer for hiding places, good filtration and keep up on your weekly maintainance. 1 male - 2/3 females. The females of this species are just as vibrant in colour.

I say that you need a 30 gallon mimimum for electric yellows. I disagree with keeping such an active, potentially aggressive 5" fish in a 20 gallon tank.

I'll second that, min 30g... even still only 3-4 max......

Also i have to disagree with putting leleupi in a 20g...
they get up near 5" and are a bit moody at times.

I personally think leleupi are fine in a 20 gallon. They take average 2 years to grow to full size, and by that time will become acclimitized to their surroundings.
