how terrtorial are yellow labs and im going to house them with clown loaches and tiger barbs and an eel and i was wondering how i would be able to feed the eel without the labs eating the meat and catching bloat also are they bottom dwellers?

For mbunas yellow labs are generally peacful. But there is instances where they have become murders and killed everything in the tank. The tiger barbs should be ok but every now and then one might be missing. The loaches should be ok but they do need a tank of atleast 125g and I think I've seen that this tank is 46g. The labs might be at risk for bloat if you feed the eel food high in protein.

Yellow Labs. are quite peaceful as Mbuma Cichlids & i think they'll be Ok with Barbs. Clown Loaches need a big tank & if you have one, go for it.

Don't feed Mbuma's high protein food, as they might bloat.

this tank was going to be a 46 gallon bowfront but now its a 55 gallon the loaches will only be temporary until i get my 125 for christmas what should i feed the eel?
