Males are often brighter and larger than the females, and have 'threads' on their dorsal fin. Females do not have these, and ususally have a pinker belly than do males. I hope that helps you. ![]() |

Once they pair up, you can redistribute (move, trade, etc.) them and leave a pair in your tank, if you desire to breed them. You'll most likely have success with few or no other fish in the tank (when the lights go out, caviar is a popular midnight snack!). |
