Anubias? Too tough for them i would suppose. People have told me they will not eat Java Moss, but when i had mine, it liked to tear it off the driftwood i had it attached to and was it was just a pain.

well, i have some anubias, but i want to get it to grow close to its full size before i put it in to test whether severum will eat it or not are there any other plants that i could try?

You could try Java Fern if you haven't already.

That was one plant my Labs wouldn't touch.

i can try java fern, but i put a couple red crypt wendtii's in there and they got DEMOLISHED i know for a fact that corkscrew val is no good, so i would assume straight val is the same?

I have 2 straight vals in the cichlid tank with a plant wrecking oscar.. They outgrew my 29 gal so I threw them in. I think the oscar likes them as he hasn't wrecked them yet..Been in there over a month. This is an oscar that trashes my fake plants for fun.. Too bad there's not enough light on that tank to sustain them, they'll turn brown then fall apart
