wanted to know if i had enough room for a pair of kribs and a pair of german rams in my 29 usg. just want to make sure they have enough territory.

My first question is what else do you have in the tank. Then I remembered I posted a similar question not too long ago and was advised against having kribs & rams together http://www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/thread.asp?id=41599

I'd say that they should be OK but as previously said, depending on tank set-up. Providing enough caves for the kribs to retreat to (with holes just big enough to prevent the rams getting into them), it should be OK.

It'll be ok unless the Kribs breed! I wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately kribs breed very easily. I'd still say that they'd be OK, but I agree that its not an ideal sized tank for two pairs of these fish.

how are your kribs and angels doing right now


No problems. I've had the kribs for quite a while, the angel I added 4 months ago. The angel grew quickly, he (she?) tends to hang out with my black phantoms for some reason. The krib pair tend to stay on the lower half of the tank and don't bother the angel at all.
