I bought a jaguar and i almost didnt cause i was afraid he might be too agressive in my tank but i put him in anyway, hes about 4 inches long, the second largest fish in the tank, well my leporinus, my two convicts, and the red terror are just kicking his and now i have to set up a quarintine tank, is there anything i can do to stop this? The leporinus is larger but the other fish are like 2-3 inches long. And there in a 75 for now although i know they will outgrow the tank.

Try rearranging the tank decor (the rocks and driftwood and stuff. The fish already there have set up their own territories and so will defend them against any new comers. Moving the decor will force the fish to get new territories and give th jaguar a chance to establish itself.

Good Luck

Add a couple more decorations at the same time while your at it (if you can, like driftwood, plants, pots, and so on..) IME I find this works very well with the larger fish.

Hope this helps,
Angel Eel

maybe stress the fish out a little bit and then add the jaquar its alot better that way they have to calm down them selves and they will redo the territory thing..
