how do i know if my kribs have bred. they are in a flower pot that is dfacing the other side of the tank. i have a large male that seems now (since i added a female) to fight everyone in the tank and protects his flower pot.

Does the female hang out in the pot? If so, that's a good sign. In any case, you'll know soon enough. In a week or so, if they have spawned, Mamma will bring them out. They will then proceed to try to murder every other fish in the tank. Kribs with young are dangerous in the confines of an aquarium. If your tank is big enough the others may be able to stay out of the way.

Good luck, Mike

Well i way to tell is to look around the tank and the flowerpot to see if there are any eggs/fry. They are probably getting ready to spawn. Good Luck

Mamma will bring them out in good time. Relax, anticipation is half the fun. If she's in the pot alot and the male is guarding the roost, there's babies in there.
