When the firemouth gets bigger, he may get more aggressive towards the krib. She may be loney, does she have any male friends to keep her "occupied"? Maybe she just needs some lovin

It was most likely aggresive posturing. You introduced a new threat to her territory and she was showing she's the boss. It would watch very carefully as they get older you may have an unusually agressive krib.

actually she was with a male and female in a community tank n she was a runt... she grew quite fast once i auctioned off the pair ...

i dont wanna breed kribensis anymore they are way to easy...
i am breeding blue acaras now.. they breed once a month......
