Now, as far as keeping rams, kribs, and rasboras together, I'm not too sure as kribs are very, very nasty little fish when they get older. Also when they breed anything on the bottom of the tank is likely to be killed. I'd suggest one or another, not both. It is possible though. |

Kribs are like the middle of the 2 when it comes to coloring lol. usually they show very dull coloring maybe some blue and pinks. when they breed they explode into colorations you couldnt imagin coming from such a fish.unfortently have more agression when breeding compared to the rams but also a much better parent. now the question is which would i go with? honestly i dont know. simply because im still deciding the same question myself lol. finding healthy blue rams has become rather annoying and they lack the parenting im after. on the other hand the kribs are to agressive to have with my fish if they breed. but i do have alot of room for the other fish to run to if needed. all this talk about kribs and seeing them in my LFS darting around and showing coloration has really tempted me to just get them and find out what happens in my tank. course my 12 cories might hate me for it. so anyway i dont know what you should do with "which one question" its really up to you and what you think is acceptable. research both and see what you would rather have. here is a good place to start -[link=krib/blue ram info]http://hjem.get2net.dk/Best_of_the_Web/blue%20rams.html" style="COLOR: #00FFFF[/link] |

So test your pH and maybe go from there, unless you want to take time to adjust (which do not do with chemicals!) |

Kribs are very beautiful fish aswell, but when they are breeding, they get pretty aggressive. http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
