Perhaps a divider and start dosing the tank with Melafix.

Well the melafix will not help if the injured fish is not given a place to rest. So the best way would be to move the fish or get a divider.

Have you noticed any injuries to your other fish? Adding melafix to the tank would also be helpful in stopping any infections in case one of the others is injured also.

Melafix will not hurt any other fish.

However I would recommend a divider or removing either the injured fish or the fish that injured it. If not, it will happen again.

Dont forget salt, which helps relieve the stress the fish is going through. About 1 teaspon/10 gallons helps in injuries and such. Melafix is great with salt too.

no, don't use table salt. most lfs will sell freshwater aquarium salt. Jungle is the brand I can find easiest.
