snake09j![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fingerling Posts: 35 Kudos: 34 Votes: 7 Registered: 02-Aug-2005 ![]() ![]() | i have a very diverse african cichlid tankwith upside down cats, birchir, bn pleco, and 5 small assorted mumba chichlids. i was at a petstor today that was far away and bought a beautiful peacock cichlid on impulse. so far no conflicts and hes been i there for a good 12 hours. peacocks are supposed to be significantly less agressive than the blood lusting mumba. is my peacock safe, and if so do they do better in large numbers? |

Though a peacock would probably survive on a higher vegetable diet, the colors would probably fade. |

You may have your new peacock for a very long time in that set-up, but he won't live to his full potential and will never really display his "best" colors. You may also have him for a very short time... I have two questions: 1)What kind of peacock did you get? 2)What are the 5 mbuna you have? And Yes, he'll do better with higher numbers, they all do. But the set-up is the first concern ![]() |
